One of my goals in Berlin was to only eat traditional Central European cuisine, and boy was that ever so satisfying. Every place smelled like babcia's kitchen and while it's hard to beat food from Poland, every bite we had was delicious and flavorful.First photo: Weisswurst sausages and a pretzel.Second photo: Chocolate Schnecke (sticky German buns); traditionally these are cinnamon but I went rogue and decided to go with dark chocolate.Third photo: Hofbräu Dunkel, enough said.Fourth photo: Wiener Würstchen with vinegar-based potato salad and a side of mustard; this is one of my most favorite meals in the entire world.Fifth photo: Goulash soup; originally from Hungary but very popular throughout Central/Eastern Europe.
